Angkor Wat:

When you see Angkor, it often looks like it is on an island in a lake. In fact, it is surrounded by a huge human-made moat! There is a causeway that crosses it.

This (along with many other photos) is an Apsara, a court servant spirit to the god Indra. There are hundreds of them carved into the temple walls, all different (and many in bad shape).

We climbed a hill and a bunch of really steep steps to watch the sunset.

(there's Angkor Wat again)

This is actually a manmade lake from about the 12th century, with a manmade island in the center.

Bayon temple has hundreds of Buddha faces carved into all the walls.

After spending a little time here, you start to feel kinda... I don't know... watched.

Ta Prohm is also called the "Tomb Raider Temple". See if you can guess why.

Banteay Srei, unlike the other temples, is made of pink sandstone.
